I can't figure it out!?!?!?
I cannot figure out why my pictures will not upload to my blog. I can type and then try to add 1 photo and it will not upload the picture. Are my picture sizes to big? How do I change that? HELP!
Happy 91st Birthday!!!
My grandmother, a.k.a. Granny, turned 91 today, May 9th. She still lives by herself, cooks, clean, has a garden, and even goes to the store! She is amazing. God has blessed her beyond belief. She says that she didn't think she was going to live this long. "Must be God's grace!" She has unbelievable faith. She has the biggest heart and the best stories.
I had lunch with today. Along with, Adam, Blake, Kelly, Joseph, Abby, Josh(Kelly's brother), Jack, Leann, Katie, Uncle Gary, and Aunt Janice. Uncle Gary and Aunt Janice left before I got my camera out.

Happy Birthday Adam and Blake - March 6th
Adam and Blake chose to go to the rodeo in Montgomery instead of having a big birthday party. We had a blast. I have never been to a huge rodeo like the one we went to. My favorite part was the rodeo clown. He had a HUGE yellow cowboy hat and he was hilarious! He was constantly telling funny jokes. The boys really enjoyed the rodeo. That was the whole point, finding something that they would remember and have fun doing it. On the Sunday after the rodeo, we invited family and the boy that lives across the street, Trevor, over for some cake and ice cream. We had a fun filled weekend.
Life is too busy for me!!!
I have not posted in over a month. We have had home improvements, birthdays, our 1st anniversary, baseball, and animals coming out of our ears for the month of March.
1. We have FINALLY finished the guest bedroom and hallway.
2. Adam and Blake turned 7! Instead of a big birthday party, they wanted to go to the big rodeo in Montgomery. I will make other posts about each event that happened in March.
3. Can you believe that it has been a year for me and Brock? I guess time flys when you are having fun!
4. Baseball - We are on the Storm team. Adam and Blake are playing baseball with a pitching machine that pitches at a speed of about 40 mph. They are very serious about baseball. We are waiting for a good scholarship!

Love Language: Physical Touch
I know several people have read The Five Love Languages for Couples. If not, it is a must read. There is another book written by the same author, Gary Chapman, called The Five Love Languages of Children. It is a must read also. It helped me find out how to love my children the way they want to be loved. Blake is, hands down, quality time. The funny thing about quality time is it does not matter who gives him quality time. It can be given by me, Brock, Mema(my mom), or Papa(my dad). As long as he has your undivided attention. Which is hard to come by when you have a twin brother. But we try to remember his love language, and how drastically he needs it. Adam is physical touch. In children the love language physical touch is a little different. And it changes as they get older. The love language will even change who it is directed towards, mom or dad. Right know, we are at the phase where he is constantly hitting on Brock and wrestling with Brock. He still requires me to snuggle and sit next to him on the couch. I caught Adam showing Brock some "love" on camera the other day!
Can you feel the love?!
A Glimpse of February!
This is a post to catch everyone up. I haven't posted in a while because my life is going to fast to stop and blog. We are busy remodeling our house, baseball has started, and family in town. So please be patient with me for a few more weeks. I will try to post more often.
Happy Valentine's Day
This year we decided to give bibles to Adam and Blake for Valentine's Day. Who else can show love like Jesus did? It is an adventure bible that is a NIrV translation. It is written very well for small children. Has a lot of pictures and easy questions. One of the questions was, "Did David ever sin?" Adam started tell us on time David told a lie. Brock asked Adam if he has ever told a lie. He said without any hesitation, "Yeah, ALL THE TIME!!!" The look on Adam's face said it all. Atleast he told the truth that time.

Nathan and Hailey came to Andalusia!
Nathan, my brother, and his daughter, Hailey, came to Andalusia the week of President's Day. They live in Charleston, SC. That was their first long road trip together. Of course, she had to see the ducks, quail, chickens, and guns. If not, she would not know what Brantley was all about! They had a really good time, and we enjoyed them being here. I hope their next visit is not so long away this time. We go to Charleston regularly, so we see them a few times a year.

Hailey's first time shooting a gun. Start her off right with a 410 shotgun. Shhh, don't tell her mom! She also shot a bb gun. She was more comfortable with the bb gun, but not afraid of the shotgun at all.
Blake giving lessons.
